Blackjack League – Full Terms & Conditions
The following is a list of terms and conditions for participation in Pragmatic Play’s ‘Blackjack League Network Promotion (the “Network Promotion”) by Pragmatic Play’s operators (the “Operators”), whether offered directly or through a platform provider. The Network Promotion shall run from April 1st to September 29th, 2024 (the “Network Promotion Term”) as a global promotion for Pragmatic Play network and Blackjack games/tables.
By participating in the Network Promotion, you hereby agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Moreover, these terms and conditions shall be subject to and be read in conjunction with the terms and conditions set out in the Software Licence Agreement entered between Pragmatic Play and the operator. Any capitalized terms contained herein which are not defined shall have the same meaning used in the iGaming/gambling industry.
Blackjack League – Daily Tournaments General Terms & Conditions
- This Network Promotion is operated by Pragmatic Play. The prize pool is shared across the network of Operators who opt in for this Network Promotion.
- The Blackjack League Network will run in the selected participating Blackjack games/tables throughout April 1st and September 29th, 2024, daily and will include (in total for the duration of the Network Promotion Term):
- A total of ninety-one (91) tournaments will run daily on selected Blackjack tables with a minimum stake of $5 to $10 (each a “Bronze Blackjack Tournament”);
- A total of ninety-one (91) tournaments will run daily on selected Blackjack tables with a minimum stake of $25 to $50 (each a “Silver Blackjack Tournament”);
- A total of ninety-one (91) tournaments will run daily on selected Blackjack tables with a minimum stake of $100 (each a “Gold Blackjack Tournament”);
- A total of ninety-one (91) tournaments will run daily only on Privé Blackjack tables with a minimum stake of $1,000 (each a “Privé Blackjack Tournament”).
- A Bronze Blackjack Tournament/Silver Gold Tournament/Gold Blackjack Tournament/Privé Blackjack Tournament will be referred to individually or collectively as a promotion (the “Promotion”).
- To participate in any Promotion during the Network Promotion Term, players must join/opt-in to any of the participating games.
- The total expected prize pool for the entire Network Promotion is $3,185,000.
- For the avoidance of doubt, any undistributed portion of the prize pool at the end of any specific Promotion shall be carried forward into subsequent stages or into the next Network Promotion(s).
- The Network Promotion prizes may be won by players in the form of fixed cash amounts as set out in the respective prize tables further below.
- All prizes won during the Network Promotion Term must be paid out as fixed cash amount prizes with no wagering requirements.
Mechanics
- Each promotional day (hereinafter “Promotion Day”) within the Network Promotion Term includes four (4) distinctive tournaments dedicated to a specific stake range of Blackjack games/tables: (i) Bronze Blackjack Tournament; (ii) Silver Blackjack Tournament; (iii) Gold Blackjack Tournament, and (iv) Privé Blackjack Tournament.
- In order for players to be eligible to participate in any Promotion, a real money minimum bet is required in the amounts stated in the table below or the equivalent amount in any available currencies on the participating game(s) is required (hereinafter a “Qualifying Bet”).
- Bronze Blackjack Tournament: $5 – $10
- Silver Blackjack Tournament: $25 – $50
- Gold Blackjack Tournament: $100
- Privé Blackjack Tournament: $1,000
- The minimum bet requirement may vary within the above stated range depending on a particular Blackjack table minimum stake.
- A Qualifying Bet shall render a player eligible to score on the leaderboard on the following conditions:
- Only Base Main Bets and Base Bets Behind (as defined below), which satisfy the Qualifying Bet criteria, may be considered for any Promotion.
- A base main bet in the Network Promotion shall be defined as the initial bet a player places at the beginning of each round, before splitting hands or doubling up (each a “Base Main Bet”).
- A base bet behind in the Network Promotion shall be defined as the initial stake placed on Bet Behind by a player at the beginning of each round, (each a “Base Bet Behind”).
- Bets behind in the Network Promotion shall be defined as Best Hand, Insurance, and Blackjack (“Bets Behind”).
- If a player places any Base Main Bet(s) and/or Bets Behind, which satisfy the Qualifying Bet criteria, together with Side Bet(s) (defined below) within one (1) game round, only such Base Main Bet(s) and/or Bets Behind may be considered for the score calculation.
- Side bets shall be defined as Perfect Pairs (Perfect Pair, Coloured Pair, Mixed Pair) and 21+3 (Suited Trips, Straight Flush, Three of a Kind, Straight, Flush) (“Side Bets”).
- In the event of a player taking multiple seats at a Blackjack table, the total Qualifying Bet and total Qualifying Win (as defined below) across all seats together will be considered towards the score calculation.
- A "qualifying win" is defined as a positive outcome of one game round following the placement of a Qualifying Bet.
- If a player places multiple Base Main Bets and/or multiple Bets Behind on a participating table, the total Qualifying Bet and total Qualifying Win will be considered for the score calculation.
- If a player places a bet and splits the hand, the total Qualifying Bet and total Qualifying Win across the split hands will be considered for the score calculation.
- Qualifying win is calculated as total win (win + stake of the winning bet) across all seats divided by total bet across all seats taken by a player. If a player receives a win (win + stake of the winning bet) within one (1) game round that is exactly equal to one time (1x) of the total Qualifying Bet, the game round will not be considered for the score calculation.
- If a player has a consecutive win streak and receives a win (win + stake of the winning bet) equal to one time (1x) of the total Qualifying Bet, the Consecutive Qualifying Wins (as defined below) streak will be paused and remain at the same number and shall resume as soon as the player starts placing Qualifying Bets again.
- Consecutive Qualifying Wins streak is defined as a sequence of Qualifying wins by a player without any losses occurring between them.
- Only the first one hundred (100) Qualifying Bets per day within each of the Bronze Blackjack Tournament, Silver Blackjack Tournament, and Gold Blackjack Tournament will be counted towards and considered eligible (the “Qualifying Bets Limit”). All Qualifying Bets placed after reaching the Qualifying Bets Limit will not be counted towards each Promotion. The Qualifying Bets Limit will not be applicable for the Privé Blackjack Tournaments.
- The Promotion rules and prize tables are built in the participating games/tables. The leaderboard updates in real time showing, the current standings of every player.
- Prizes will be paid out as per the ‘Prizes’ tab, found in each of the participating games/tables.
- In order for players to rank on the leaderboard during a Promotion, a minimum of two (2) Qualifying Bets followed by two Consecutive Qualifying Wins are required for points awarding in accordance with the selected winning criteria for any Promotion as defined below:
Bronze Blackjack Tournament, Silver Blackjack Tournament, and Gold Blackjack Tournament Mechanics:
- The leaderboard is ranked in accordance with the score, which score is based on the total points received by the player for consecutive in-game wins on a Qualifying Bet (hereinafter each a “Consecutive Win”), as defined below:
- A minimum of two (2) Consecutive Qualifying Wins (as defined hereunder) achieved after placing two (2) Qualifying Bets is required. (For illustrative purposes only: player places a bet of $10 and wins $20, which equals to two (2) (the total win amount including the stake is divided by the stake amount to achieve a number) (20/10=2) and the player initiates the winning streak. Another example would be as follows; a player places a bet of $20 and wins $40, which equals two (2) (40/20=2) and the player receives 10 points).
- The point distribution for each Qualifying Win is awarded to players as per the table below.

- The leaderboard is updated in real-time, and players can view the real-time leaderboard in-game at any time of their own choosing when playing the participating games.
- In the event that two (2) or more players finish a Bronze Blackjack Tournament/Silver Blackjack Tournament/Gold Blackjack Tournament in the same position on the leaderboard, the player who has achieved the score first will receive the higher prize.
- Prizes are paid out to players as a fixed cash amount.
How Players May Participate:
- A player must join/opt-in to any of the participating games/tables.
- A player must place Qualifying Bets on any of the selected participating tables/games.
- A player will receive points based on in-game Consecutive Wins.
- The higher the total value of the points received by the player for Consecutive Wins, the higher the player’s score.
- The prizes will be distributed to players based on the final score displayed on the in-game leaderboard by the end of each tournament period.
- The leaderboard is built in the participating game/s and updates in real-time. Each player will see his/her progress listed as “You” among the other players’ tournament IDs.
Privé Blackjack Tournament Mechanics:
- Prizes will be distributed to winners according to their final position in the leaderboard, when each Privé Blackjack Tournament ends, in descending order from highest to lowest position depending on the player’s total score.
- The leaderboard is ranked in accordance with the score, which score is based on the total points received by the player for their highest consecutive win streak on a Qualifying Bet (hereinafter each a “Highest Consecutive Win Streak”) during a Privé Blackjack Tournament period.
- In order for players to place on the leaderboard, a minimum of two (2) wins in a streak is required.
- Only one single biggest win streak should be considered for a single player. If a player has two or more-win streaks during a single tournament, only the longest streak with the earlier date and time of the last win in this streak (closer to the tournament start date) is considered for player’s rank on the leaderboard.
- Score calculation example for illustrative purposes only:

- * Player 3 has a higher position because their last win in the highest win streak was earlier than Player 1’s date and time of the last win.
- ** Player 1’s “9” score from the consecutive wins streak is not considered for prizes in this tournament and not displayed in the leaderboard because Player 1 has a bigger “10” wins streak.
- The leaderboard is updated in real-time, and players can view the real-time leaderboard in-game at any time of their own choosing when playing the participating games.
- In the event that two (2) or more players finish a Privé Blackjack Tournament with the same number of wins in the streak, the player who achieved their last win in the winning streak closer to the tournament start date will have a higher position on the leaderboard.
- Prizes are paid out to players as a fixed cash amount.
How Players May Participate:
- A player must join/opt-in to any of the participating games/tables.
- To qualify in a Privé Blackjack Tournament, a player must place a real money bet with the required minimum bet in any of the available currencies on any of the participating game/table(s).
- A player will place on the leaderboard based on the total amount of points accumulated on any participating game for their highest consecutive win streak during a Privé Blackjack Tournament period.
- The prizes will be distributed to players based on the final score shown on the in-game leaderboard by the end of each Privé Blackjack Tournament.
- The leaderboard is built in the participating game/s and updates in real-time. Each player will see his/her progress listed as “You” among the other players’ tournament IDs.
Network Promotion Term: Weeks 1-4:
Participating Games:
A list of all participating games in the Network Promotion will be available one (1) month prior to the beginning of each new promotional month in our Client Hub for the duration of the Network Term.
A. Bronze Blackjack Tournament:
- Win criteria: Players will be awarded points based on the Consecutive Wins criteria.
- Prizes: Expected weekly prize pool of twenty-one thousand dollars ($21,000) in total, an expected daily prize pool of three thousand dollars ($3,000) across two hundred and fifty (250) prizes in the form of fixed cash amounts.

- Prizes: Expected weekly prize pool of forty-nine thousand dollars ($49,000) in total, an expected daily prize pool of seven thousand dollars ($7,000) across two hundred (200) prizes in the form of fixed cash amounts.

- Prizes: Expected weekly prize pool of one hundred and five thousand dollars ($105,000) in total, an expected daily prize pool of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) across forty-nine (49) prizes in the form of fixed cash amounts.

D. Privé Blackjack Tournament:
- Win criteria: Players will be awarded points based on the Highest single win streak criteria.
- Prizes: Expected weekly prize pool of seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) in total, an expected daily prize pool of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) across one (1) prize in the form of fixed cash amounts.
General Rules:
- Opt-in is required for Operators and for players. Players are required to join/opt-in to a game.
- In order to take part in the Network Promotion, Operators must opt-in during the Network Promotion Term.
- In order to qualify for the Network Promotion, at least one (1) “Blackjack League” banner must be used on the Operators’ site(s). Operators are required to create a dedicated “Blackjack League” and position it on the top three (3) rows on the Casino/Live Casino lobby games page. Place at least ten (10) participating tables from each tournament in the Blackjack/Live Casino lobby. Position Pragmatic Play’s Blackjack Lobby thumbnail within the top three (3) positions in the Blackjack/Live Casino lobby. At least one (1) monthly email newsletter must be sent to inform players about the Network Promotion throughout the Network Promotion Term.
- The “Blackjack League” logo or name and/or any other Pragmatic Play marketing material shall not be changed, altered, or modified in any way unless expressly authorised in writing by Pragmatic Play.
- Components of the dedicated Network Promotion promo pack must be used on the Operators’ site(s), in newsletters and in other media including social media.
- Where applicable, it shall be the responsibility of the platform provider to ensure all Operators opt into the Network Promotion. Pragmatic Play will be held harmless for the failure of the Operator to opt into the Network Promotion.
- Any and all prizes will be granted pursuant to these terms and conditions, which Pragmatic Play may, at its discretion, amend at any time.
- Pragmatic Play shall pay out an estimated three million one hundred and eighty-five thousand dollars ($3,185,000) in aggregate for the Network Promotion during the Network Promotion Term.
- It is the responsibility of the Operator to ensure that the prize promotion is conducted in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the Network Promotion is offered.
- Dedicated tables will be added to the participating games list for each Bronze Blackjack Tournament/Silver Blackjack Tournament/Gold Blackjack Tournament/Privé Blackjack Tournament at Pragmatic Play's sole discretion.
- It is the responsibility of the Operator to ensure that Pragmatic Play‘s products and services comply with the applicable laws of the countries in which the participating game is offered to players.
- In–game tool languages: Armenian, Bulgarian, Chinese, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, Georgian, German, Greek, Hungarian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Persian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.
- In-game tool currency: Pragmatic Play’s games support all currencies included in the standard currency system ISO 4217 (“Available Currency”).
- The currency conversion rates of in-game prize tables shall be updated at Pragmatic Play’s sole discretion.
- The minimum bet currency equivalent is to be found in a separate document available in the dedicated Blackjack League section called “Blackjack League Conversion Rates”. If the currency-locked value is unavailable, the minimum bet will be rounded up to the next higher available bet size in the participating game. The Blackjack League rates may be updated at Pragmatic Play’s sole and absolute discretion.
- The equivalent currency conversion rates are found in a separate document available in the dedicated Blackjack League section called “Blackjack League Conversion Rates”. If the currency-locked value is unavailable, then a system conversion rate locked in for the period of a Promotion will be used instead. The Blackjack League Conversion Rates may be updated at Pragmatic Play’s sole and absolute discretion.
- The payment of cash prizes must not be conditioned on any wagering requirements. Players shall be able to withdraw prizes immediately should they elect to do so.
- Prize pay-outs may either be provided manually or automatically. This would be dependent on the operator's method of integration.
- The Operator which has manual pay-out of the prizes, shall pay out the winnings of the fixed cash amount and multiplier amount prizes manually.
- The Operator which has automatic pay-out of the prizes, will have the winnings of the fixed cash amount and multiplier amount prizes paid out automatically to the player's cash balance.
- Prizes/wins may be subjected to additional verification processes as required by Pragmatic Play.
- Each Operator with a winning player(s) must inform the winning player of the prize and shall credit the cash prize to the winning player’s account within seventy-two (72) hours following the end of the relevant Bronze Blackjack Tournament/Silver Blackjack Tournament/Gold Blackjack Tournament/Privé Blackjack Tournament.
- Pragmatic Play will reimburse all Operators for any amounts paid to winning players who opt for cash prizes by deducting such amounts from the relevant Operator’s invoice. Pragmatic Play will deduct any amounts for cash prizes according to the conversion of such amounts into USD currency.
- Any players located in Italy, Sweden, Lithuania, Denmark, Latvia, Spain and Portugal shall be excluded from participating in the Network Promotion.
- If the terms & conditions have been translated into various languages, the translated terms shall reflect the same principles. However, in case of any discrepancies between the different language versions, the English version shall prevail.
- Pragmatic Play reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Network Promotion, including any related terms and conditions, at any time. Any such amendment will not affect players that have opted-in unless the amendment is required to manage/prevent fraud and other unlawful behaviour.
